She'd frustrate her mother when she'd cut up her own clothes. She attended our fashion design summer programs and the fashion show got her hooked.
Read MoreOver the summer a group of 16 elementary and middle school students at DesignX managed to plan and build an entire neighborhood from scratch. Granted, the neighborhood was only a 12-foot-by-12-foot model, but it was made to scale and complete with many of the details a real-life community would have.
