ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
Architectural Design for 4-10 at DesignX introduces kids and teens to the study of architecture and the built environment. Students develop skills in observation, reasoning and critical thinking as they explore and learn about functional, safe and aesthetically appealing buildings and spaces. They leave the class with not only an appreciation of their built environment and the buildings, towns and cities that make it up but also a small scale model of their building. Models designed and ‘built’ by students at our camp, not only reveal their sense of scale, proportion but their endless imagination - from helipads and bugpads to space inspired domes.
